Position Overview
As an F&B Hostess at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel By Tivoli in Doha, Qatar, you will serve as the initial point of contact for guests. Your role involves fostering a hospitable environment and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and seat them following the restaurant's floor plan protocols.
- Anticipate guest needs proactively and provide prompt responses to ensure their satisfaction.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns efficiently to uphold service quality.
- Perform routine table visits to assess guest satisfaction levels.
- Manage reservations and cancellations in line with departmental guidelines and communicate any changes to management.
- Pre-assign seating and accommodate special guest requests effectively.
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the hostess stand and dining area.
- Ensure tables are meticulously set and prepared for service.
- Oversee the cleanliness and functionality of restaurant equipment and supplies.
- Support restaurant staff as necessary to facilitate seamless operations.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize service delivery and promote a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate flexibility by rotating among various F&B outlets when required.
- Assist with cashier duties and reconcile transactions accurately.
- Engage in training sessions and undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- A professional appearance is required.
- A customer-focused attitude with the ability to multitask and maintain organization.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality context is beneficial but not mandatory.
