Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Fashion Designer to become part of our creative team. This role involves developing diverse product ranges including womenswear, activewear, swimwear, shoes, accessories, and sunglasses while aligning with the brand's identity and production standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate intensively with clients, stakeholders, and design and production teams to create product ranges across multiple categories.
• Develop and formulate design concepts emphasizing fit, manufacturability, and quality that uphold the White Fox brand vision.
• Prepare detailed production specifications promptly and work with clients and stakeholders to refine design solutions.
• Manage all sample production and fitting, providing timely feedback to suppliers about timelines, production methods, and manufacturing protocols.
• Advise on design concepts to guarantee garment fit, construction, and quality standards are met.
• Maintain daily interactions with overseas suppliers and factories to supervise manufacturing operations.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in production or product development roles.
• Possession of a Degree or Diploma in Fashion.
• Exceptional organizational capabilities.
• Proven expertise in garment fitting and construction.
• In-depth knowledge of grading techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Strong proficiency in computer usage, specifically on Mac platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative independently.
• Capability to handle and coordinate multiple concurrent tasks effectively.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from 90000 to 100000 AUD per annum plus superannuation.
