Factory Supervisor

Overview

Sanjay Fresh Bake, located in Acharpura, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, is seeking a Factory Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within their production department. This role demands managing the production of bakery items such as bread, rusk, biscuits, and cakes while ensuring efficiency, quality, hygiene, and discipline on the factory floor.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to meet planned targets.
• Assign and oversee workers across production sections and evaluate their performance.
• Ensure effective use of manpower and maintain discipline throughout the shop floor.
• Monitor adherence to correct recipes, batch sizes, processing parameters, and production procedures.
• Collaborate with related departments including Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
• Track raw material consumption to minimize wastage and avoid rework.
• Enforce production area cleanliness, hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards.
• Inspect product quality, weight, appearance, baking, and packaging parameters during production.
• Detect production issues such as breakdowns, quality faults, or staffing shortages and report immediately.
• Maintain records including production logs, wastage, downtime, and manpower reports.
• Ensure machinery, tools, and work areas are cleaned and maintained properly.
• Train new employees on production processes, hygiene, safety protocols, and workplace discipline.
• Guarantee workers' compliance with safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) use.
• Manage shift handovers effectively, communicating any pending tasks or issues clearly.
• Take ownership of meeting daily production goals with minimal waste.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in factory or production supervision.
• Preferably experienced in FMCG, bakery, food, dairy, namkeen, biscuit, or confectionery industries.
• Educational background of Graduate, Diploma, or ITI aligned with experience level.
• Good command of manpower management and shop floor operations.
• Comfortable working in production environments with shift systems.
• Basic familiarity with production documentation, reporting, and Excel software.
• Strong communication skills, discipline, and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on supervisory style with capability to manage workforce directly.
