Job Overview

The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing daily factory operations to ensure efficient production processes. This role focuses on optimizing manpower, maintaining product quality and safety standards, and achieving production targets within set timelines. Additionally, the supervisor ensures a secure and orderly working environment, emphasizing food safety and hygiene.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities following the established production schedule.
• Ensure production goals are met in terms of quantity and timing.
• Monitor the functioning of production equipment, workflows, and processes.
• Work to reduce downtime, minimize waste, rejection, and material losses.
• Collaborate with the Factory Manager to address production planning and operational challenges.
• Ensure correct handling, storage, and movement of raw materials and finished products.
• Assign tasks and work areas to production staff efficiently.
• Track staff attendance, punctuality, output, and discipline.
• Provide training and guidance on production methods, hygiene, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain sufficient workforce for each shift and ensure smooth communication during shift handovers.
