About the Role
Join U-Haul as a Facility Housekeeper and contribute to maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming facilities that support excellent customer service. This role is essential for ensuring all areas of the U-Haul facility, including storage units, hallways, restrooms, and elevators, remain clean and inviting.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wipe surfaces throughout the facility including storage areas, hallways, restrooms, and elevators.
- Properly dispose of trash to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory levels and request additional supplies when needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned to support facility maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills to manage tasks effectively.
- A motivated self-starter attitude, willing to learn and take initiative.
Work Environment
The job involves certain moderate risks and requires adherence to safety measures, such as working around moving parts, machinery, or exposure to chemicals. Appropriate protective equipment like masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be necessary.
Physical Requirements
This position demands physical stamina including standing for extended periods, working outdoors, reaching objects at different heights, and moving equipment or items that can weigh at least 50 pounds, either assisted or unassisted.
