Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Facility Engineer to join our new SG6 site in Singapore. This role suits individuals passionate about troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems and eager to develop a lasting career in critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventative maintenance inspections on facility systems and equipment.
• Carry out routine repairs, upkeep, and installations.
• Monitor and respond to alerts from the Building Management System (BMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting and corrective maintenance efforts.
• Support operations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and safety systems.
• Escalate and help resolve facility-related issues and incidents.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure safe completion of maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to maintenance protocols and manage work permits.
• Maintain thorough site logs and operational records.
• Complete work orders and assist in infrastructure projects.
• Support senior engineers with facility upgrades and incident handling.
• Work collaboratively with team members to uphold site reliability and uptime.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Internship or a minimum of one year practical experience in maintaining electrical or mechanical equipment.
• Experience working in facilities such as hospitals, commercial buildings, shopping malls, manufacturing plants, airports, industrial plants, or facilities management environments.
• Keen interest in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
• Comfortable working hands-on in an operational setting.
• Availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Unrestricted work authorization in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work permit not requiring sponsorship).
• Ability to work onsite at the SG6 location (Jalan Tukang area).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, HVAC, chillers, or mechanical systems.
• Experience utilizing Building Management Systems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and permit-to-work procedures.
