Role Overview

As a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the continuous operation of critical facility systems. This role demands a technically skilled engineer who can oversee outsourced maintenance personnel, manage emergency situations, and ensure smooth operations across all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain seamless facility operations by providing engineering leadership across all shifts around the clock.
  • Supervise outsourced maintenance teams, ensuring the proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on essential building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS) to ensure peak performance and uptime.
  • Evaluate contractor work quality, enforce safety and quality standards, and verify adherence to service level agreements and key performance indicators.
  • Lead technical responses to facility emergencies by diagnosing issues and coordinating swift resolution efforts.
  • Review and validate maintenance documentation, including reports, shift logs, and incident records, while contributing to root cause analysis and continuous operational improvements.
  • Ensure that all maintenance operations comply with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
  • Have over two years of experience in facilities operation and maintenance, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities and sound decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and energy management technologies.
  • Have solid knowledge of building systems, maintenance methods, and emergency protocols.
  • Possess effective communication and coordination capabilities.
  • Be capable of working independently on various shifts while managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
