About the Role

CGC Recruitment is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join a reputable builder specializing in upscale residential developments in Sydney's Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, and Northern Beaches. The company boasts nearly two decades of experience delivering new construction and renovations valued between $3 million to $10 million.

This position involves contributing to multiple ongoing luxury residential projects, offering a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing first and second fix carpentry on high-end architectural homes.
  • Engaging in new construction, alterations, and additions.
  • Performing fine finishing work and architectural carpentry tasks.
  • Interpreting and working from architectural plans and drawings.
  • Collaborating closely with Site Managers and the broader construction team.
  • Ensuring project sites are maintained to exceptional standards of quality and presentation.
  • Managing tasks on technically complex and detailed projects.
  • Adhering to safety and efficiency standards while delivering superior workmanship.

Candidate Profile

  • Holds a formal Carpenter qualification with substantial industry experience.
  • Possesses at least five years of experience specifically as a Carpenter.
  • Demonstrates strong background in high-end residential construction.
  • Exhibits excellent attention to detail and superior craftsmanship.
  • Capable of confidently reading and interpreting architectural drawings and plans.
  • Experienced in managing complex residential construction challenges.
  • Reliable, professional, and takes pride in quality work output.
  • Equipped with own tools, transportation, and a valid White Card.
