About the Role

Join Nando's PERi-PERi team as an Expeditor, a pivotal position connecting our kitchen and guests. This role ensures that orders are timely, meet Nando's quality standards, and reach the correct customer. You will also handle preparation and packaging of take-out orders and serve as the final point of contact for this key customer segment. Being organized, efficient, professional, and courteous is essential to delivering the signature Nando's experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the timely preparation and delivery of customer orders.
• Maintain quality standards consistent with Nando’s expectations.
• Package and prepare take-out orders accurately.
• Act as a warm, courteous liaison between customers and the kitchen team.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Maintain composure and efficiency in high-pressure situations.
• Dedicated to delivering excellent service and knowledgeable about food and beverages.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Proficiency in basic English and professional communication skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to independently lift items up to 15 pounds for extended durations.
• Capable of standing, walking, and climbing stairs while carrying food and dishes throughout shifts.
• Endurance to stand or walk for 8 to 10 hours daily.
• Good hand-eye coordination; frequent reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting overhead, and stair climbing in multi-level restaurants.
