About the Role
Join our collaborative and dynamic Tax Technology team responsible for developing and maintaining global tax reporting and compliance solutions. Responsibilities
In this position, you will collaborate closely with diverse technology and business teams worldwide. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions using Python programming, AWS technologies, and API integration with enterprise systems. You will ensure that application engineering best practices are rigorously followed and updated throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Required Experience and Skills
- 4 to 9 years of substantial hands-on experience programming in Python.
- Strong knowledge of AWS concepts and practical experience with API integration for both on-premise and SaaS platforms.
- Expertise in integrating applications with enterprise-wide platforms and data sources via APIs or file transfer methods.
- Understanding of engineering best practices focusing on data integrity and security controls.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as a service (IaaS), cloud formation, and developer tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Ansible, or other CI/CD solutions.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and manage batch scheduling effectively.
