About the Role

The Executive Partner (EP) position at Gartner is a pivotal advisory role supporting digital leaders, primarily CIOs and senior IT executives, across a global membership of Fortune 500 companies and governments. EPs serve as trusted coaches, content contributors, and business advisors, collaborating within Gartner to provide tailored service solutions using various company products.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee a portfolio of 25 to 33 member relationships from some of the largest global and national organizations spanning both public and private sectors.
• Utilize subject matter expertise to develop and deliver comprehensive service solutions utilizing the full suite of Executive Programs offerings.
• Assess members' Mission Critical Priorities (MCPs) to design customized service plans and innovative solutions.
• Engage with clients through a blend of in-person and virtual interactions including workshops, research analyst visits, roundtables, and webinars.
• Participate in and sometimes lead local Executive Programs events to present or facilitate sessions.
• Work closely with Gartner’s Sales teams to maintain strong member engagement and secure renewals and expansion of business.

Candidate Profile

• Senior consulting leaders, C-level executives, or senior IT leaders with over 20 years of escalating experience in technology, especially in digital transformation and AI.
• Experience managing large strategic programs and directing strategic IT initiatives within their organizations.
• Deep understanding of CIO priorities, IT operations management, leadership, strategy, industry trends, and metrics relevant to today's CIO challenges.
• Exceptional critical thinking and structured problem-solving capability.
• Resilience and expertise in navigating complex, ambiguous environments.
• Strong skills in relationship management and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, including executive presence in verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation contexts.
• Proven sales or business development experience working with CXO level leaders.
• Effective multitasking and priority management capability.
• A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously.
• Dedicated to enabling the success of others.
• Highly collaborative nature with confident and persuasive interpersonal style.
• Active listening skills and gravitas.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally around 25-30% of the time.
