About the Role

As a Conference Sales Executive at Gartner, you will engage with a portfolio of enterprise clients, primarily targeting Fortune 500 companies. Your role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to pipeline management and deal closure. You will collaborate closely with senior executives to align Gartner's conference offerings with their strategic business goals, while driving revenue growth, client retention, and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sales processes including lead generation, outreach, pipeline development, and closing of deals.
  • Create and expand sales pipeline via outbound prospecting, networking, and account development.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets through client retention, upselling, and acquiring new business.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with senior executives in enterprise accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with internal sales and account teams to boost revenue streams.
  • Identify new stakeholders and broaden purchasing groups within assigned accounts.
  • Consult clients on the most effective conference solutions to meet their business needs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Between 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development roles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of overall professional experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, quota-driven sales environment.
  • Proven ability in prospecting, generating pipeline, and successfully closing deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
  • Strong aptitude for building trust and relationships with senior-level executives.
  • High business acumen with consultative selling skills.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
