Role Overview
Join Westpac's Business & Wealth division as an Executive Assistant, providing comprehensive support to the State General Manager. This role involves managing complex schedules, overseeing diary and inbox management, arranging travel, handling expenses, and coordinating leadership events and town halls. The Executive Assistant will be instrumental in ensuring efficient operations and facilitating executive productivity within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex and rapidly changing calendar for the State General Manager while prioritizing critical tasks.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reporting, leadership events, and town halls.
- Anticipate and address business requirements proactively to support executive functions.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across Business Banking and a wide network of Executive Assistants.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience supporting a General Manager, State General Manager, or similar executive leadership role within a sizeable, complex organization.
- Proven aptitude for handling intricate schedules, inboxes, and competing priorities using sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management with confidence to engage and influence senior leaders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- A proactive and innovative mindset with interest in utilizing AI and digital solutions to boost productivity and improve work processes.
- Excellent communication, discretion, professionalism, and relationship-building capabilities at all organizational levels.
