Events Executive

Position Overview

As an Events Executive at W Hotels, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing event logistics, ensuring seamless execution according to banquet event orders, and meeting guests' needs with professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with group coordinators or hosts prior to events to make introductions and confirm arrangements.
• Carefully review banquet event orders to obtain guest details, arrangement specifics, event timelines, and catering requirements such as buffets and action stations.
• Address and fulfill any special banquet requests and follow up to ensure compliance.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety and security protocols, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete necessary safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, safeguard confidential information, and protect company assets.
• Greet all guests warmly in accordance with company standards, anticipate and respond to guest service needs, and sincerely thank guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, including answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Build and sustain positive working relationships with team members to collectively achieve goals.
• Ensure that quality standards and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
• Perform routine visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Be physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods during shifts, handling objects up to 25 pounds, maneuvering through confined spaces, uneven surfaces, stairs, ramps, and performing tasks that involve bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
