About The Role

The Lana, a prestigious hotel within the Dorchester Collection in Dubai, is seeking a dedicated Events Coordinator to join its Sales & Marketing - Catering & Events division in a full-time permanent capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture strong relationships within your designated Groups and Events client segments to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
• Drive increased production and revenue to meet and surpass the hotel's annual budget targets.
• Uphold the core values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Collaboration, and Creativity, embodying these traits daily to contribute to the hotel's legacy.
• Manage contracting and planning for group room allocations and meeting spaces from inception to completion, aligned with client needs.
• Proactively identify and secure new clients within assigned segments, consistently achieving or exceeding monthly prospecting and appointment goals.
• Explore further growth opportunities within existing client accounts to capture additional market share.
• Prepare all necessary event and group documentation and coordinate with clients and suppliers to maintain a consistently high service standard.
• Deliver weekly event and group reports to all hotel departments to support business planning.
• Handle administrative functions of the department efficiently.
• Work strategically by analyzing business reports and data daily to remain aligned with operational demands.

• Exhibit excellent communication abilities paired with a customer-service-focused attitude.
• Be proficient in English for clear communication within the hotel; fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
