Estimator - Mechanical and Electrical (M&E)

Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Estimator to become part of a bustling Project Division within a prominent Infrastructure company located in the South West, Somerset. The role offers an annual remuneration between £60,000 and £65,000 based on the candidate's experience, along with additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit precise project tenders and cost estimates related to building services and M&E projects.
• Analyze and interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications to support estimation activities.
• Utilize estimating software and Microsoft Office tools effectively to develop accurate cost plans.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience as an estimator specializing in building services or M&E sectors.
• Have a solid understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems integral to project estimation.
• Demonstrate strong commercial insight and a keen eye for accuracy and details in cost planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational background including HNC, HND, or degree in Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or comparable disciplines.
• Prior experience handling projects across commercial, residential, and public sectors is advantageous.
