Job description
About The Role
This is a permanent full-time position comprising 37.5 hours per week, responsible for managing the administration of complex deceased estates and overseeing asset distribution in alignment with wills or relevant laws. The role also involves managing cases referred by the Department of Public Prosecutions and Corruption and Crime Commission under the Criminal Property Confiscation Act 2000.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop and implement strategies by aligning with Department objectives and government priorities while adapting operational plans accordingly.
- Evaluate project and program outcomes, recommend improvements, manage changing priorities, and support projects through to completion with a focus on quality.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, team members, and agency personnel, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrate personal integrity by adhering to professional codes of conduct, maintaining accountability, seeking guidance when necessary, and managing risks prudently.
- Communicate persuasively and adapt messaging to diverse audiences while effectively listening and responding to differing perspectives.
- Possess thorough knowledge of estate administration legislation and procedures, capable of interpreting complex legal documents and adhering to departmental policies.
