ERP Consultant

Overview

This role focuses on overseeing the full lifecycle management of ERP applications including CRM, e-Commerce, business planning, and integration, while driving process improvements and ensuring high standards in product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the complete lifecycle of applications, collaborating with product development teams and application owners.
• Ensure that delivered products meet agreed quality standards when transitioned to operations.
• Partner closely with business owners and implementation teams to accurately capture requirements, implement solutions, and rollout systems.
• Define, track, and monitor key performance metrics for assigned applications, and report ongoing trends to stakeholders.
• Work with vendors to guarantee delivery of planned optimizations on time and at the expected quality level.
• Optimize sourcing frameworks aimed at improving quality and minimizing costs.
• Provide business solutions specifically addressing inventory, finance, warehouse, and LS retail modules within Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016.
• Prepare, migrate, and validate data, including importing and exporting data to/from NAV and third parties via EDI.
• Document technical implementations and code, prepare user manuals, and conduct training sessions for end users.
• Apply best practices and industry standards for user rights and security management within ERP systems.
• Manage database backup and recovery operations.

Qualifications

• At least a bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
• Five to six years of experience in a similar techno-functional business management role.
• Preferred experience in the fashion retail sector.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
• Demonstrated project management expertise with capability to operate at managerial levels.
• Experience in managing teams and working towards strategic organizational goals.
• Vendor services management experience.
• Proficient with SQL database management.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities with managers and teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and structured work approach.
• Self-driven with a strong commitment to meet deadlines and targets.

Resource Competencies

• Practical experience implementing or upgrading various versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP.
• Delivery of CRM and e-Commerce related projects.
• Strong techno-functional expertise in NAV and LS Retail systems.
• Proficient in SQL Standard and Enterprise Administration.
