Equipment Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Support production by performing shift duties on a rotating 12-hour shift basis every 4 months.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance following the planned maintenance schedule and detailed specifications.
• Maintain organized and safe workspaces within production and maintenance support zones.
• Assist Engineers during evaluations, experiments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure uninterrupted production by minimizing machine downtime through timely repairs and equipment support.
• Comply with regulatory requirements including ISO 13485:2003 and 21 CFR – 820 standards in all maintenance activities.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Mentor and support new colleagues by serving as an On-the-Job Training buddy.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and integrity of preventive maintenance results.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: Higher secondary education with technical experience, High School Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory, or related fields.
• Experience working in a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant environment is preferred.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds without assistance.
• Work environment includes cleanroom settings requiring adherence to strict hygiene protocols (e.g., no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, or facial hair).
• Handling of hazardous or toxic materials may be involved.

Work Schedule

Rotating 12-hour shifts every 4 months.
