EQS Refrigeration Technician

Role Overview

As part of our commitment to ensuring customers always have access to chilled products like Coke and L&P, we maintain over 35,000 refrigeration and vending units. Since these units do not self-repair, we need skilled Refrigeration Technicians specializing in remanufacturing to maintain peak performance.

Primary Responsibilities

Based at the East Tamaki Refurbishment Centre and reporting to the Equipment Services Refurbishment Manager, you will take charge of the refurbishment, servicing, repair, and upkeep of a variety of equipment including fridges, vending machines, post-mix, and ice machines. Managing an agreed inventory of refurbished refrigeration units and spare parts is integral, as is controlling service call costs to ensure economic efficiency. Upholding exemplary customer service at all touchpoints when representing the company is essential.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must possess a National Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Level 3 or 4) along with practical refurbishment experience. A valid New Zealand driver’s license is mandatory. Beyond qualifications, strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to delivering outstanding customer service will set successful candidates apart.
