Job Overview

This opportunity offers a $24.40 per hour wage along with a $2,000 sign-on bonus distributed incrementally: $500 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, and $1,000 after completing one full year at the company. The role focuses on merchandising products within high-volume retail stores such as grocery outlets. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, rotating stock, assembling displays, and managing inventory both on shelves and in storage areas. This role involves considerable physical effort, such as lifting items weighing 20 to 45 pounds, as well as bending, reaching, and squatting during the merchandising process. The schedule is consistent with fixed start times and designated customers, with potential flexibility over time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products on store shelves, in coolers, and on promotional displays.
• Maintain product rotation practices in storage rooms and sales floors to ensure freshness.
• Transport merchandise between backrooms and sales areas using equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and U Boats.
• Install promotional signage including banners and signs within store locations.
• Keep storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Communicate store-related concerns to store managers and company supervisors.
• Foster positive relationships with store personnel at the ground level.
• Adhere to company procedures such as scanning products during route completion.
• Provide customer service through effective communication, rapport building, and attentiveness.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Use handheld devices for order entry and reporting.
• Maintain consistent, reliable attendance.

Candidate Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a physical capabilities assessment, if required.
• Possession of personal transportation to reach multiple store locations within assigned shifts.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of insurance.

Preferred Background

• Experience in retail or grocery environments familiarizing with store operations, inventory management, stocking, and backroom processes.
• Competence in handling products safely, using equipment to move merchandise within stores.
• Skills in merchandising such as stocking shelves, setting up attractive displays, rotating and cleaning products, and eliminating out-of-date inventory.
• Organizing and managing backroom stock effectively.
• Customer service experience, including managing complaints and responding to requests.

Employees using personal vehicles for route visits will receive mileage reimbursement.
