Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our UK and Ireland team. This position collaborates closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success units to provide expert technical support during the sales process. The successful candidate will guide enterprise clients on harnessing Postman’s platform to optimize their API strategies and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify customer needs and demonstrate how Postman can address their challenges.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with technical stakeholders, advising on best practices for API lifecycle management.
• Design and deliver customized proofs of concept, demos, workshops, and hands-on sessions to align with customer objectives.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally to ensure unified planning and execution aligned with client goals.
• Stay abreast of Postman features, API industry trends including AI, DevOps, and security, and relay client feedback to product teams.
• Represent Postman at industry events and produce content such as blogs, tutorials, and demos showcasing real-world applications and benefits.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of two years in technical consulting, pre-sales engineering, or a similar technical client-facing role.
• Over five years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following areas: REST and GraphQL APIs, API lifecycle tools (like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Kong, Apigee), CI/CD pipelines and automation, cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and modern software development methodologies.
• Fluent English communication skills, comfortable delivering presentations to customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across EMEA, and occasionally globally for company functions.
