About the Role
The API Network team manages the largest public API network globally as well as private catalogs for enterprise API management. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer passionate about delivering seamless, high-performance user experiences. You will play a key role in building scalable and intuitive features, optimizing search experience, and working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the Public API Network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop secure, performant, and scalable end-to-end solutions for the Public API Network.
- Enhance user search experience with a strong focus on customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to continuously improve the API Network within Postman.
- Demonstrate proactivity by exploring beyond specific domains to iterate rapidly and deliver incremental improvements.
- Create quick functional prototypes to address both internal and external user scenarios.
- Contribute to engineering culture through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and mentoring colleagues.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience as a full-stack software engineer.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and database technologies including SQL and NoSQL.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and infrastructure.
- Effective problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to completing tasks within constraints.
- Motivated to build valuable products that positively impact users.
- Collaborative and experimental attitude with willingness to work across teams and silos.
