Role Overview
We are seeking an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic SDR team based in London. The SDR will play a key role in propelling our expansion across the UK and Ireland by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential enterprise customers.
Your proficiency in uncovering opportunities, initiating impactful dialogues, and fostering relationships will be fundamental to growing our UKI client base. Partnering closely with sales and marketing teams, you will build a pipeline of qualified leads to pave the way for successful enterprise deals. We look for motivated individuals eager to exceed monthly goals and adept at employing effective outbound strategies to generate high-quality business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage proactively with prospects to cultivate a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities within the UK and Ireland.
- Employ diverse tools and research methods to identify and evaluate potential leads.
- Conduct outbound prospecting using emails, phone calls, and social selling techniques to generate interest in Staffbase's offerings.
- Assess and qualify accounts by understanding their challenges, needs, and alignment with Staffbase's solutions.
- Effectively communicate Staffbase’s value proposition, customizing messages to address the priorities of HR, Internal Communications, and IT leaders.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups and manage relationships across multiple contacts to keep Staffbase top of mind.
- Arrange high-value meetings for the Account Executive team and extend influence within targeted accounts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to sustainably drive pipeline growth.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and developments in Staffbase's platform to position offerings compellingly in discussions.
- Innovate on prospecting approaches and provide continuous feedback to Sales leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a growth-driven mindset, a hunter mentality, and a sincere interest in building a career in enterprise SaaS sales.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in sales, SDR roles, recruitment, or other customer-facing positions.
- Be highly motivated, goal-driven, and thrive on pursuing and exceeding targets.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Be comfortable with phone outreach and actively engage in daily sales activities.
- Demonstrate coachability and receptiveness to training and feedback.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, effective time management, and analytical as well as creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Work well within a team, celebrating collective and individual successes.
- Fluency in business English is mandatory; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
