Role Overview

The Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for sourcing Sales Qualified Opportunities within target industries such as e-commerce, finance, insurance, mobility, travel, telecommunications, and utilities. The focus is on engaging the Buyer Persona "Head of Customer Care." This position reports to the Co-founder & CCO and collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, and other BDR teams across regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a qualified sales pipeline using creative outreach methods, partner engagement, and participation in events.
  • Conduct initial MEDDICC qualification to ensure opportunities align with the buyer persona’s needs and use cases.
  • Manage outreach efforts including cold calls, event networking, and partnership cultivation.
  • Achieve KPIs such as revenue influence, number of qualified opportunities, pipeline quality, and conversion rates.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within customer experience SaaS, BPO, or consulting sectors.
  • Proven success in outbound sales including cold outreach, event participation, partnership development, and generating own pipeline.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior executives such as COOs, CCOs, and Heads of Customer Experience or Operations.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Confident, energetic, and highly motivated to significantly contribute to Onepilot’s UK&I growth.
  • Proficient with Hubspot and AI-driven business development tools.
  • Ability to attend the London Old Street office at least three days per week.

Compensation and Benefits

  • On-target earnings of £80,000, including ramp-up period.
  • Flexible hybrid working policy (not fully remote).

Recruitment Process

  • Initial discussion with People & Culture team to introduce the role and address questions.
  • Second interview with Pierre, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Third interview with Pierre and Head of Sales UK & Ireland, including preparation of a business case.
  • Final interview with CEO and an additional team member.
