About the Role
Alteryx is at the forefront of a transformative shift where data, automation, and AI revolutionize business decision-making. We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to support our clients through this change by driving analytics-led digital transformation. In this position, you will engage with C-suite executives and functional business leaders to promote adoption of the Alteryx analytics platform and open new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business across targeted account lists to identify opportunities within multiple functional areas.
- Develop deep understanding of customers’ business challenges and processes to ask relevant questions and deliver unique value with each engagement.
- Align Alteryx solutions with the prospect's business goals, ensuring a customer-centric sales approach.
- Coordinate sales efforts effectively by involving pre-sales and post-sales teams, utilizing industry expertise as necessary.
- Design account plans based on client strategies and organizational structures to meet revenue objectives and support growth.
- Manage and continually grow the sales pipeline, collaborating closely with marketing, alliances, and channel partners.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and proficiency in the Alteryx platform to effectively communicate its value.
- Build trust through expertise, solution value, and commitment to customer success.
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles within software or technology companies.
- Proven ability to close rapid sales opportunities as well as manage complex, longer sales cycles.
- Experience influencing C-level executives and building consensus within buying teams at Global 2000 companies.
- Successful track record in consultative, service-led sales, especially multi-year and subscription-based deals.
- Strong organizational and people management skills to coordinate resources and advance sales opportunities.
- Solid understanding of the data-analytics industry and awareness of competitor products/capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
