With a workforce exceeding 10,300 globally and 1,000 in the UK & Ireland, SYSTRA is rapidly expanding and inviting talented individuals to join their Systems Engineering & Assurance team in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Execute robust processes for capturing, managing, validating, and measuring the quality of systems engineering outputs such as requirements documentation.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to elicit clear, concise, verifiable, unambiguous, and achievable requirements.
- Support projects in establishing strong evidence for the validation and verification of requirements.
- Apply systems engineering processes, utilize standard industry tools like DOORS, Visio, and Enterprise Architect, and employ architecting techniques to facilitate integration, requirements management, and verification & validation.
- Maintain and enhance professional competence aligned with the company’s systems engineering capability framework.
- Build and sustain relationships with external organizations (e.g., INCOSE, IfSE, SaRS) and clients such as Network Rail, HS2, and Heathrow Airport Ltd to bolster SYSTRA's industry standing.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Hands-on experience with requirements management, especially using DOORS, and document control on complex projects.
- Background working on large-scale infrastructure programs.
- Direct experience within the UK rail sector applying systems engineering principles to turnkey mainline or mass transit railway projects.
- In-depth understanding of systems engineering concepts, lifecycle processes, and relevant standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with international standards such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 and ISO/IEC 42010.
- Experience utilizing DOORS requirements management databases.
- Knowledge of configuration management techniques and associated tools.
- Exposure to verification, validation, and system assurance activities on significant infrastructure programs.
