Job description
About the Role
This position involves performing thorough Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) activities on completed sheet metal products and components to ensure they meet specified customer and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out visual, dimension, and functional inspections on finished components following established guidelines.
- Verify compliance of products against customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality criteria.
- Detect defects and liaise with the Production team to implement corrective measures.
- Document PDI results by maintaining inspection reports, check sheets, and other quality records.
- Track and analyze trends in rejection rates, rework, and defects to support continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Polymer Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven understanding of quality inspection processes and standards in manufacturing, preferably auto component production.
Additional Information
Employment location is Faridabad, India. The remuneration ranges between 200000 and 300000 INR annually.
