Engineer III

About the Role

The Engineer III position at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Saudi Arabia supports the maintenance and service operations primarily focused on guest requests and equipment upkeep. This role requires effective communication with guests to address maintenance issues and ensure their satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and maintain open communication to resolve issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubricating parts.
• Conduct visual inspections on tools, equipment, and machinery for proper function.
• Transport equipment such as tools and radios as required.
• Identify and operate all shut-off valves associated with equipment safely.
• Maintain a proper inventory of maintenance supplies and order parts when necessary.
• Record details of unresolved maintenance requests before shift changes.
• Follow all safety and company policies; report any maintenance hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications; safely store flammable materials.
• Maintain professional personal appearance and uniform standards at all times.
• Protect the confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguard company assets.
• Greet guests following company standards, anticipate their service needs, and assist guests including those with disabilities.
• Ensure quality standards and expectations are upheld consistently.
• Foster positive workplace relationships and support team objectives.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers.
• Handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
• Navigate stairs, ramps, and ladders safely as part of job duties.
• Perform physical movements such as bending, stretching, twisting, and crouching.
• Carry out additional reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Technical diploma or certificate from a trade school, vocational or technical educational institution.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in a similar maintenance role.
• A valid driving license is mandatory.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
