Engineer I - Field Service

Job Overview

The Field Service Engineer acts as the primary link between the factory and on-site teams, overseeing the organization and coordination of product finalization, packing, and material management for outgoing projects. This role ensures seamless transfer of workflow and product quality from the factory to project sites by serving as the 'eyes and ears' of the site crew within the factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist design, deployment engineering, and R&D departments by leveraging experience and expertise.
• Support factory production supervisors and foremen with technical knowledge.
• Prepare factory resources for project site execution.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, warehouse, and logistics teams for smooth project transitions.
• Act as liaison between factory and site management concerning materials, schedules, quality, issue tracking, packing, and logistics.
• Monitor factory tasks, material lists, and packing processes during assembly stages.
• Maintain coordination between factory operations and on-site activities.
• Generate detailed progression reports for Project Managers and Construction Managers.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, technologies, and standards.
• Provide feedback to stakeholders and contribute to leadership presentations.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams, providing feedback to site personnel.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant field experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Willing to work overtime or weekends at the factory as needed.
• Prepared to travel to project sites as necessary (approximately 15% travel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a minimum English proficiency at B2 level.

Working Conditions

This role combines factory, office, and occasional project site work. Candidates must be adaptable to diverse environments and prioritize compliance with safety standards and regulations.
