Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Employee Relations Analyst to conduct comprehensive research and analysis on employee relations patterns and challenges. The role focuses on recommending improvements to enhance employee relations efforts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and analyze trends and issues in employee relations to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and propose actionable recommendations.
- Support resolution processes for employee relations cases including complaints investigations, disciplinary measures, and managing performance issues, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and legal standards.
- Examine data related to employee relations such as turnover, absenteeism, and satisfaction survey results to identify patterns and craft strategies to boost engagement and workplace atmosphere.
- Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company culture, legal mandates, and industry best standards.
- Offer guidance to managers and supervisors on interpreting policies, procedural matters, and legal requirements relating to employee relations, and help manage workforce conflicts and concerns.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops focused on topics like conflict resolution, communicating effectively, and fostering respectful workplace behavior to nurture a positive work environment.
- Maintain detailed, confidential documentation including investigation outcomes and disciplinary actions, complying with privacy legislation and company rules.
- Execute all responsibilities associated with employee relations activities.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a closely related discipline, alongside 2 to 4 years of experience in HR or a similar domain.
Skills and Expertise Required
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to effectively address employee relations challenges and advise both employees and leadership.
