Electrical Service Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Electrical Service Engineer possessing solid knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems to address machine troubleshooting, servicing, installation, and field support needs. Candidates fresh out of school with strong foundational electrical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties

• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in industrial machinery.
• Diagnose problems within electrical panels, wiring configurations, motors, sensors, and control mechanisms.
• Conduct routine servicing, maintenance tasks, installations, and commissioning activities for machines as needed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and programming tasks related to PLC systems.
• Comprehend electrical circuits, control panels, and various machine parts.
• Collaborate directly with clients, offering on-site technical support.
• Travel to customer locations for servicing or resolving breakdown situations.
• Prepare straightforward service reports and keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure efficient and timely solutions for all machine-related malfunctions.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and panels.
• Basic familiarity with mechanical components and industrial machines.
• Fundamental knowledge of PLC operation and troubleshooting.
