Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical installations and equipment through proactive and corrective maintenance. This role requires expertise in diagnosing electrical faults and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

• Carry out both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions as they occur, addressing maintenance requests quickly.
• Manage electrical panels, distribution boards, lighting setups, switches, sockets, motors, and other electrical devices efficiently.
• Regularly inspect electrical components to confirm their safe operation and adherence to standards.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs and promptly inform the Facility or Engineering Manager about critical problems.
• Adhere strictly to electrical safety guidelines and ensure all activities follow site-specific safety regulations.
