Job Overview

Join WSP in the Middle East as an experienced Electrical Inspector for a significant data centre project located east of Riyadh. This role involves ensuring that all electrical work aligns strictly with approved designs, specifications, and applicable standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on electrical components such as power distribution, lighting systems, cabling, and grounding installations.
• Confirm adherence to authorized drawings, technical specs, and project quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, and site teams to maintain workflow and standards.
• Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans, and material submissions to ensure compliance.
• Detect and document deviations, enforcing corrective measures where required.
• Compile detailed inspection reports and keep thorough records on site.
• Contribute to upholding quality assurance and health and safety protocols throughout the project.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience as an Electrical Inspector on large construction projects.
• Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Preferred experience working on data centre, industrial, or other critical infrastructure projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, relevant codes and standards, and inspection methodologies.
• Ability to operate efficiently in dynamic, fast-paced construction environments.
• Strong communication skills for effective reporting and coordination.
