Role Overview
The Electrical Estimator role is critical to supporting project development and execution. Working from our Damastown office in Dublin 15, you will collaborate closely with the Estimating Manager and a multidisciplinary team to handle tendering for diverse, large-scale projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage tender processes from inception to completion on significant projects spanning multiple industries.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders continuously throughout the bidding cycle.
- Keep management updated on bid status and prospects.
- Participate in pre- and post-tender interviews as necessary.
- Compile subcontractor quotations ensuring strict compliance with specifications.
- Attend internal and client meetings as required.
- Perform take-offs from tender drawings accurately.
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant engineering field is essential.
- Experience with a trade background is beneficial.
- Prior involvement with data centre projects is a plus, showcasing familiarity with leading industry standards and technologies.
- Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal capabilities for effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage competing deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience with estimating software such as Trimble or an equivalent platform.
- A strong commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Minimum of five years’ experience within an estimating role handling high-value tenders.
