Role Overview
The Electrical and Industrial team focuses on water, wastewater, and industrial projects by delivering electrical, control, and SCADA solutions. This intermediate Electrical Engineer role, based in Auckland, offers hands-on experience, mentoring, and the chance to expand your technical expertise while supporting various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating electrical designs, documentation, and specifications
- Work alongside senior engineers on water and industrial projects
- Contribute to technical calculations, drawings, and report preparation
- Participate in site visits and project-related meetings
- Apply quality, safety, and risk management practices within projects
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations
Projects span water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, industrial facilities, and control and telemetry systems.
Candidate Profile
- Holds or nearing completion of a degree in Electrical Engineering
- Possesses between 3 to 7 years of electrical industry experience in New Zealand
- Shows interest in infrastructure, industrial, or water-related projects
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Communicates clearly and is proactive in seeking clarity when needed
- Adopts a collaborative approach consistent with company values
