About the Role
Join WSP's expanding Property and Buildings Building Services team in Melbourne as an Electrical Engineer with 3 to 6 years of professional experience. You will be part of a dynamic, supportive team blending seasoned professionals with newer members, where a welcoming atmosphere fosters high performance and shared success.
Responsibilities
- Execute assigned electrical engineering projects adhering to technical and commercial standards.
- Design and document various systems including electrical power, lighting, communications, and electronic security.
- Engage effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary design team, contributing positively to team culture and performance.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Between 3 to 6 years of experience in electrical building services design, preferably in consulting engineering.
- Proficient knowledge of applicable Standards and Codes like AS/NZS 3000 and the National Construction Code (NCC).
- Capable of managing multiple priorities, adhering to deadlines, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills paired with a team-oriented mindset.
