Role Overview

We are looking for an EHS Advisor to join our Dublin-based team. This role supports project management and site EHS leadership to ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental protocols on large construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to Project Management and Site EHS Managers.
• Ensure compliance with project and Winthrop's Safety Management systems.
• Adhere to applicable Environmental, Health & Safety laws and regulations.
• Implement Winthrop Technologies' PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety plans rigorously.
• Review and assess method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action, and permits to work.
• Monitor the execution of project plans to ensure safety standards are met.
• Maintain good safety practices consistently across the site.
• Conduct ongoing COSHH assessments and manage hazardous substances control.
• Track completion and documentation of safety interventions.
• Carry out frequent site audits and inspections with documentation and follow-up corrective actions.
• Keep records of statutory inspections for project activities, tools, and equipment.
• Proactively approach and manage all EHS requirements throughout the project.
• Work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
• Oversee sub-contractor compliance with project and corporate EHS procedures.
• Coordinate, manage, and maintain Winthrop Technologies' induction and training programs.
• Prepare and deliver toolbox talks when necessary.
• Assist in accident investigations promptly and ensure findings are communicated to project management.
• Ensure welfare and hygiene facilities are established, managed, and maintained.
• Participate in daily briefings and whiteboard meetings.
• Support waste reduction and recycling efforts aligned with project policies.

Candidate Requirements

• A relevant third-level degree in Health & Safety.
• A minimum of three years' experience working on large-scale construction sites.
• Comprehensive understanding of current environmental, health, and safety legislation.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns as needed.
• Capability to manage all EHS-related issues efficiently onsite.
• Strong communication abilities and computer literacy.
