Role Description
We are seeking a Document Controller to join a significant data centre project located in Dublin 15. This crucial position supports the efficient operation of a dynamic construction environment by managing and controlling all project documents in alignment with corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee that all project documents comply with company policies and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Distribute and monitor documents to ensure all stakeholders have access to the most current versions, including drawings, contracts, submittals, RFIs, reports, schedules, and specifications.
- Maintain and update various project registers, such as document, RFI, action, and issue logs.
- Interpret and summarize data from project logs, emphasizing pending actions or overdue items.
- Produce routine reports to aid in project tracking, including document status and overdue notifications.
- Ensure proper storage and version control of documents following the project’s document control protocols.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to confirm their documentation meets project criteria.
- Assist Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Health & Safety initiatives by supporting audits and ensuring compliance linked to documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a comparable site-based role.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is critical.
- Strong organizational abilities coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Advanced IT capabilities, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with knowledge sharing platforms will be considered an asset.
