Job description
Role Overview
Blueball Technologies (BBT) seeks a dedicated and career-driven Educational Counsellor to join its team in Chennai. The chosen candidate will guide students and working professionals in selecting appropriate IT training programs aligned with their career aspirations while supporting the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise students and professionals on suitable IT courses and career opportunities.
- Assess each individual's academic history, career goals, skills, and expectations.
- Conduct personalized counselling sessions explaining BBT's training offerings, including curriculum, duration, eligibility, methodology, fees, and admission procedures.
- Respond to inquiries from students and parents via phone, WhatsApp, and in-person counselling.
- Manage outbound calls to assigned leads and arrange counselling appointments.
- Regularly follow up with prospective students and families.
- Organize counselling schedules and centre visits.
- Address questions and concerns from students professionally.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with prospects throughout the admission process.
- Effectively convert qualified leads into admissions through persistent counselling and follow-up.
- Keep accurate records of leads, remarks, follow-up dates, and conversion status within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with training, sales, and placement teams as necessary.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Submit regular reports on activities and conversions to management.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
- Open to fresh graduates and applicants with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in Tamil and English with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with persuasive abilities.
- Comfortable initiating outbound calls and engaging prospective students.
- Capable of understanding student needs and recommending proper programs.
- Demonstrates a positive outlook, self-confidence, patience, and a willingness to learn.
- Prior involvement in education counselling, telecalling, admissions, inside sales, or training institute roles is advantageous.
