Key Responsibilities

• Verify that terminology, conventions, and scientific reasoning are precise, consistent, and audience-appropriate for the epidemiology discipline.
• Enhance the presentation of complex research to improve communication effectiveness and readiness for publication.
• Edit texts to meet premium academic writing standards, removing unclear, illogical, or unnatural sentences. Follow manuscript formatting guidelines aligned with target journals when necessary.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Public Health or Epidemiology is mandatory.
• A strong record of scholarly publications with at least 5–10 first-author articles is required.
• Experience with peer review processes.
• Ability to critically analyze study designs, methodologies, statistical approaches, and results interpretations.
• Demonstrated skill in scrutinizing scientific content to ensure subject-specific precision.
• Excellent command of written English coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous experience in scientific editing or within academic publishing is advantageous.
