Job description

Company Overview

Jetinet Technologies specializes in developing a commerce technology platform that streamlines and automates various e-commerce activities ranging from supplier integrations and product/catalog management to inventory control, pricing strategies, marketplace engagement, and order handling. As the company expands its US-focused e-commerce business, it seeks an Ecommerce Manager to steer this growth.

Role Summary

The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing product management, inventory handling, and product listings across all sales platforms including Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, among others. This role demands ownership and hands-on involvement to ensure accurate, well-stocked, appropriately priced, and well-performing products across all channels daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the comprehensive product catalog lifecycle including creation, enrichment, categorization, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Ensure all product details such as titles, images, attributes, UPCs, and descriptions comply with different channel requirements.
  • Oversee product listings on multiple marketplaces and sales channels.
  • Coordinate the entire new product launch process from supplier onboarding through to active listing.
  • Track and reconcile inventory levels across various marketplaces, supplier feeds, and internal systems.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory data, risks of overselling, and failures in data feeds.
  • Maintain accurate stock data to avoid stockouts and lost sales opportunities.
  • Liaise closely with suppliers to guarantee up-to-date and dependable inventory information.
  • Administer listings and maintain account health on platforms including Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify.
  • Monitor pricing accuracy, adherence to minimum advertised price (MAP) policies, and compliance with marketplace rules.
  • Rapidly address issues such as suppressed, inactive, or non-compliant listings.
  • Analyze and act upon account performance metrics such as order defect rates, late shipment rates, returns, and customer feedback.
  • Generate routine reports regarding catalog health, inventory accuracy, and marketplace performance.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) for catalog, inventory, and marketplace management.
  • Identify repetitive issues and lead initiatives to improve processes aimed at preventing these problems.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of two years professional experience in e-commerce operations, product or catalog management, or marketplace management.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, and Shopify platforms.
  • Thorough understanding of inventory controls and workflows for multi-channel product listings.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reconciliation using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Highly detail-focused, well-organized, and capable of managing several priorities autonomously.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to detect potential problems before they impact revenue.
  • A proactive approach where problems are sought out and addressed proactively rather than reacted to.
