Job description
Overview
This role is ideal for a professional fluent in Japanese who will manage e-commerce development for a global fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company. Reporting within a compact team, the incumbent will foster partnerships with e-commerce platforms and coordinate across ASEAN subsidiaries, external collaborators, and the Japan headquarters (HQ) to enhance the regional online business.
Key Duties
- Hold regular discussions with top e-commerce platforms to address promotions, operational matters, and other key issues, preparing and distributing relevant documents and updates to ASEAN subsidiaries.
- Liaise with external partners to facilitate business operations involving ASEAN entities.
- Engage with the e-commerce division at Japan HQ and develop materials for scheduled meetings.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Japanese at business level (JLPT N1 highly preferred) for frequent communication with Japan HQ.
- Business-level English to interact with international e-commerce platforms and Singapore-based teams.
- A minimum of three years experience in digital marketing, especially related to platform-based e-commerce or e-commerce consultancy.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with leading e-commerce platforms.
- Proactive approach and capability to operate effectively within a small organizational setting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary up to SGD 8,000.
- Fixed monthly allowance of SGD 400.
- Variable bonus up to 1.5 months’ salary.
- Fourteen days of annual leave provided in the first employment year.
Work Schedule and Location
The position is based onsite in Singapore and follows a hybrid work arrangement with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
