Dynatrace Expert

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Dynatrace Expert to oversee and enhance application performance monitoring across a critical banking infrastructure. Located in Abu Dhabi, this role demands extensive experience in implementing comprehensive observability solutions, infrastructure monitoring, and seamless dashboard creation to deliver real-time insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Dynatrace Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM), and Synthetic Monitoring tools.
• Implement and configure OneAgent and ActiveGate within large-scale enterprise environments to ensure thorough monitoring coverage.
• Create and customize dashboards tailored for both technical teams and business stakeholders to visualize performance metrics clearly.
• Adjust service detection routines, tailor request rules, and fine-tune monitoring policies to align with organizational needs.
• Handle platform administration including user management, permission settings, licensing (Digital Data Units), and overall platform configurations.
• Integrate Dynatrace monitoring solutions with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms to streamline incident and problem management workflows.
• Deploy monitoring capabilities across various IT assets including servers, databases, and cloud infrastructures.
• Continuously monitor and optimize performance of Windows, Linux, Unix, and AIX operating systems.
• Support monitoring efforts for SQL Server and Oracle databases as well as network and storage components.
• Collaborate effectively with infrastructure and application teams to boost overall system observability and reliability.

Required Expertise

• Proficient in Dynatrace APM, DEM, and Synthetic Monitoring technologies.
• Experience configuring and managing OneAgent and ActiveGate components.
• Skilled in creating interactive and meaningful dashboards customized for business and technical use.
• Knowledge of ITSM platform integrations to enhance monitoring workflows.
• Hands-on experience with multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, Unix, and AIX.
• Competent in monitoring SQL Server and Oracle database environments.
• Strong foundation in infrastructure monitoring and performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SolarWinds monitoring tools.
• Holding Dynatrace Associate Certification is an advantage.
