Position Overview
This role involves providing expert assistance in the selection and dispensing of quality eyewear within a retail setting, closely aligning with Walmart’s core values and customer service principles. Reporting to the Vision Centre Manager, the associate focuses on maximizing sales and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth of the optical department by implementing strategic programs and actively promoting the Walmart brand.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with Optometrists and healthcare providers both within Walmart and the local community.
- Resolve customer-related issues promptly to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.
- Adhere strictly to relevant regional regulations governing optical practice.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges between $23.40 and $30.72, with exact pay awarded based on the candidate's related experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Hold valid Optician licenses for both glasses and contact lenses.
