About the Role
Cleania Laundry Solutions is seeking a dedicated Dryclean & Laundry Operator to join our team in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. This role involves expertly handling dry-cleaning processes for various fabrics and garments, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform dry-cleaning on clothes according to fabric and garment type.
- Inspect garments before dry cleaning for stains, damages, buttons, and color condition.
- Identify types of stains and apply correct spot cleaning and stain removal methods.
- Handle premium apparel like suits, coats, jackets, sarees, lehengas, and sherwanis with care.
- Operate manual dry-cleaning and laundry machines safely and correctly, utilizing appropriate chemicals.
- Verify clothes post dry cleaning to ensure thorough cleaning.
- Carry out finishing tasks including ironing and steaming as needed.
- Fold, pack, and store finished garments properly.
- Manage customer clothes attentively to avoid damage or mixing errors.
- Perform general laundry duties such as washing, drying, and folding when requested.
- Assist with hotel laundry and linen tasks as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas.
- Report to supervisors regarding damaged garments, tough stains, or machine malfunctions.
Candidate Profile
- Previous dry-cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in laundry, dry-cleaning shops, hotel laundry, or garment-care sectors is advantageous.
- Knowledge in stain removal, dry-cleaning, and ironing adds value.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, honesty, and responsibility.
- Pay close attention when handling customer apparel.
- Be punctual and open to learning new skills.
