Job Overview
We are searching for a skillful presser to join our dedicated team in Irvine, CA. Ideal candidates will have superior ironing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively. Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an hourly wage between $20 and $25, along with benefits like Referral Bonuses, 401(k) plan contributions, and Holiday Pay.
Responsibilities
- Operate within a modern facility featuring advanced pressing technology in Irvine, CA.
- Apply expert pressing techniques adapting to new fashion trends and fabric types.
- Perform detailed ironing and garment pressing efficiently using manual methods or steam/vacuum machines.
- Gain familiarity with pressing station procedures and the typical garments processed.
- Strictly comply with all established standards, procedures, and protocols.
- Inspect garments carefully, applying finishing treatments such as stain guard and wrinkle release as needed.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of pressing equipment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in pressing techniques suitable for various fashion styles and materials.
- Expertise in both manual and machine-based garment ironing and pressing.
- Efficiently perform pressing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of pressing equipment and item-specific processing stations.
- Commitment to following all required procedures and quality standards.
- Capability to inspect and finish garments appropriately, including stain and wrinkle treatments.
- Responsibility for maintaining pressing machinery in good working order.
