Role Overview

We seek a Driving Instructor passionate about driving and teaching to help learners gain confidence on the road. The role involves conducting hands-on driving lessons, explaining traffic regulations and safety protocols, demonstrating correct driving methods, assessing learner progress, and providing patient and clear guidance throughout training. EKR offers instructor training covering teaching techniques, learner communication, practical session management, and safety procedures. While prior professional instructor experience is welcomed, skilled drivers eager to teach and learn will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver practical driving lessons to learners.
• Educate on safe driving practices, traffic rules, and road awareness.
• Guide beginners patiently to build their driving confidence.
• Model appropriate driving techniques during sessions.
• Monitor learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist learners in preparing for driving exams and actual road conditions.
• Adhere to EKR's instructional methods and safety protocols.
• Maintain professionalism and respectful interaction with learners.
• Ensure training vehicles are used responsibly and kept in proper condition.
• Commit to scheduled training sessions consistently.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a valid driving license with proficient practical driving skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of traffic laws and road safety measures.
• Genuine enthusiasm for driving and teaching.
• Patience and ability to work well with novice drivers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly and simply.
• Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious mindset.
• Openness to learning and adopting EKR's instructional approaches.
• Prior experience as driving instructor advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to undergo training to develop effective teaching methods.
• Availability for full-time or part-time onsite work in Velachery, Chennai.
