Opportunity Overview
We invite you to join our Invercargill sealing team focused on enhancing and maintaining local roads, pathways, and connections throughout the region. As a Driver Operator for one of New Zealand's largest infrastructure companies, you will participate in diverse civil projects involving heavy machinery operation, site preparation, and civil construction tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various machinery, including sprayers and trucks, to support road construction and maintenance activities.
- Prepare sites and contribute to civil construction projects effectively and safely.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment while also confidently managing tasks independently as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Hold a valid full Class 4 or Class 5 Driver Licence.
- Demonstrate practical experience in road construction and civil works.
- Possess a strong passion for outdoor work and maintaining physical fitness.
- Commit to observing rigorous health and safety practices in all work situations.
