Job Overview

The primary role is to provide driving services for the Laboratory Manager and other designated personnel, alongside carrying out various driver-related tasks effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned company vehicles to support authorized business activities.
• Maintain vehicles in a safe, roadworthy state through regular checks and maintenance.
• Offer assistance with administrative duties as required by the office.
• Ensure prompt and secure delivery of items entrusted in your custody.
• Adhere strictly to company guidelines, safety policies, and instructions.
• Immediately report any vehicle malfunctions posing safety risks or operational inefficiencies to the Laboratory Manager.

Qualifications and Profile

• Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
• In-depth familiarity with the road safety regulations and traffic routes prevalent in Zambia.
• Understanding of the company’s operational procedures.
• Minimum education level: Grade Nine Certificate.

Competencies and Skills

• Clear understanding of driver responsibilities and duties.
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental management systems applicable within the industry.

Additional Information

• Authorized to report any suspicious conduct or unclear situations directly to management.
• Empowered to identify and communicate unsafe conditions to supervisors for corrective actions.
